THE WORK
 The work (“Work”) is the replacement of an existing standpipe, located at 199 John Street, East, Wingham Ontario (“Place of the Work”) for the Township
of North Huron (“Owner”), as is more particularly described in the Bid Documents (as defined in Section 3.1 of these Instructions to Bidders) and Contract (as defined in Section 3.2 of these Instructions to Bidders).
 

The firm of R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited is the “Contract Administrator” who will be administering this request for Bids and administering the Contract
that may be awarded as a result of this request for Bids.
 

All inquiries regarding this Work, or this request for Bids, are only to be directed in writing via the ‘submit a question’ option through the bid system. The deadline to submit questions shall be 5:00 pm local time on May 1, 2026.
 

WORK AND BIDDERS
The scope of Work is more particularly described in the Bid Documents.
 

The Owner is requesting Bids (as defined in Section 7.2 of these Instructions to Bidders) in connection with the Work from qualified contractors (in the case of an advertised tender), or from the pre-qualified or invited contractors listed below (if applicable). Each contractor who responds to this request for Bids is defined as a Bidder (collectively, the “Bidders”).

(iii) Document C – General Conditions of Contract and Supplemental General Conditions

(vii) Document G – Articles of Agreement
(viii) all Addenda (as defined in Section 6.4 of these Instructions to Bidders) that were issued in writing by the Owner or Contract Administrator prior to the Bid Closing Time (as defined in Section 7.5 of these Instructions to Bidders)
